Banned From Youtube

On Friday June 26th, I uploaded a video to Youtube. In a period of drunken inspiration I quickly reposted another Youtube video with the title "EXCLUSIVE! MICHAEL JACKSON AUTOPSY." I made no changes to the video, even kept the X-files theme.

In the two weeks it was up on Youtube it garnered 8000+ views, drawing the ire of many Jackson mourners. Judging by the comments, it seemed that I had not only angered many Jackson fans, but many of which were from South America. With one comment (which was my fav), that I was a bitch and I ought to respect the gonorrhoea (in Spanish of course). Though I must question, if one is such a fan of Jackson, and mourns his passing to why are he or she searching Youtube for Jackson autopsy footage. The pungent stench of guilt, and hypocrisy is rank I do dare say. hmmmmph. yes.

This continued for the next two weeks providing me with much entertainment, until a day or so ago the video was unceremoniously removed. Flagged as inappropriate content. Youtube recommended I read the terms of service to find out how the video was inappropriate. I was unable to find the word "inappropriate," so I was unable to review what Youtube deemed appropriate, and/or inappropriate. In amusing frustration, I fired off a letter.

The letter detailed how I felt the removal of video was a violation of my freedom of speech. As you can see from the original video, there is nothing terribly objectionable about the video at all. At worst my crime was bad taste, nothing more. In conclusion to my letter, I felt if a video can be removed due to bad taste, then almost every video on Youtube ought to be removed. Every crying emo webcam sad moron on fire creationist eating a banana dog riding skateboard video. They are an insult to humanity, and I as a human are deeply offended.

Plus lets be frank. If I died of a Demerol overdose to avoid massive debts, I'd sure hope someone makes fun of me on the Internet.
